We followed this cartoonist online for quite some time, and my husband would always poke me to look at the latest funny comic that was relatable to our parenthood. Oh, the many trials and tribulations of raising kids. Now, we have it in book form!This book is nice, easy flip-through that brings light to the author's raising 4 kids and a dog (I don't know how she does it by the way!) and the funny, cute and mom-blunder moments that come along with it. I was worried it wouldn't be relatable since their ages don't necessarily match our younger ones, but it was actually really nice scope into what kinds of funny "isms" come with older ages.
Adding it to our light reading shelf along with our other cherished parenthood books and comic books. Excited to read the next volume!

It's hilarious! Easy read for everyone, child to adult, all can relate and gives a wonderful insight to everyday life! The hardwork and effort mom has to put up to her kids, supporting cast of dad to his wife and kids and not to mention all the kids' wonderful and delightful personalities! It's great read and can't stop laughing! We need vol 2 please!
Super cute! I bought the book version for a mom friend and the version for myself. Can totally relate to having multiple kids close in age. Love the Cindy pages!
This. Family. HILARIOUS! I've been following Cindy's comics online for months but still found myself laughing out loud reading through Samuelism after it arrived. This would make a great gift to send a little joy someone's way. Totally family friendly material from cover to cover, parents and non-parents will find it hilarious, and kids will love the illustrations (and Samuel's antics, of course). The world needs more Samuels!!!
I've followed Samuelism's blog for a long time and I'm delighted to have it now in book form! Samuel is so funny and I can picture myself hangout out with the family. Cindy has done a great job giving us a glimpse into her busy and crazy family! I've even seen friends' kids enjoy the book because it reminds them of themselves! The book is beautifully illustrated and colored. Brava!!
I am so grateful for the real and raw nature of these comics! As a mom of two boys, it helps to know that I am not alone in some of the struggles that parenthood brings. I also strongly believe that laughter is therapy (and even survival) for life's struggles. So, think of this book as an investment in your mental health! 😉 Excellent illustrations, excellent content, and just fun all around.
